Privacy

Last updated October 20, 2026

OpenTeleport is a globe of public live webcams. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. We use Google Analytics to count visits (below); apart from that we don't collect information about you.

YouTube API Services

The live streams are YouTube videos, played in YouTube's embedded player. OpenTeleport uses YouTube API Services:

When a stream plays, YouTube and Google may collect information from your browser and may set cookies, under their own terms. By using OpenTeleport you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

OpenTeleport never asks for access to your Google or YouTube account. If you have granted any app access to it, you can review and revoke that at Google security settings.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which cameras they open. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell repeat visits apart, and sends Google the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We don't send your name, email or any account details, because there aren't any. Google's handling of this data is described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or any tracker blocker; the site works the same without it.

Other services your browser talks to

To draw the globe and the panels, your browser contacts these services directly:

Like any website, these services and our host, Vercel, receive your IP address and browser details as part of each request, and may keep them in short-lived server logs. The camera list is stored with Supabase and fetched by our server, not by your browser.

On your device

If you resize the video panel, its width is saved in your browser's local storage (ot.playerW) so it stays the same next visit. It never leaves your device; clear your site data to remove it.

Changes

If this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
